Welcome Home Us

So now we are back in the great 808 state Hawaii. We had a blast visiting everyone back home and miss it already but...it's always good to be back to your own house. We loved our time at the Bahler's, Schwab's and Beer's. Since basically everyone who actually reads this blog was with us during the trip I won't write much about the events, but just so you know, we had a great time and are very thankful to everyone who had a open bed/air-mattress for us. Since we've been back we've been taking it pretty easy. We haven't even gotten up the energy to venture to one of our favorite beaches, since it is like 25 minutes away. We have been making ice-cream though. Eric made homemade ice-cream twice since we've been back. Once we invited the Schlossers and Jay Paz over and had his dad's vanilla recipe along with a movie. Then Eric got creative and we spent the whole afternoon Sunday making key lime ice-cream. It turned out awesome and was rich and creamy, just like Haagen-Dazs.
Eric went surfing right out by our house one night and got up on a couple waves which is pretty cool, and Ris had a dentist appointment which is also pretty cool.  In Elliott news he is really on the move now! He is standing up whenever he can grab onto anything and crawls around the house like a madman. He is usually in a good move except when we take his "toys" away. His current toys are anything he can get his hands on, extension cords, books, toilet brush, trash can...needless to say his new "toys" get taken away quite a lot. We are still working on baby proofing, it's an ongoing process. Aloha
